What a colorful place to spend time! Cliffs tower 2,000 feet above the road as you pass through the canyon. The gorgeous scenery not only takes your breath away but is a significant distraction. The 12 mile hop on/hop off Zion Canyon Scenic Drive is accessed only by shuttle. Being chauffeured is a blessing. Angels Landing Trail is a difficult, challenging hike on the bucket list of many avid hikers. Chains are bolted into the rock face to serve as handrails in some places. I chose to walk up to Walter’s Wiggles and then greet the sweaty, happy hikers coming down off this arduous hike. More my style, Emeralds Pools Trail showcased numerous waterfalls and the Riverside Walk was equally as beautiful.
