GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS

Always be thankful for the little things…even the smallest mountains can hide the most breathtaking views.

The Great Smoky Mountains is the most visited park in the nation. Here some of the tallest mountains on the East Coast are located and they give a sense of mystery and awe. Driving up through the Blue Ridge Parkway the peculiar clouds described by Cherokee “the place of blue smoke,” drifts between the peaks and shrouds trees like wispy blankets. Dense forest, clear streams and dozens of waterfalls are the playground for many animals both large and small. Humans also play: biking, fishing, riding horses, white-water rafting, watching birds and wildlife and hiking activities are all available. We loved this wonderful place.
