I am on a quest. My most awestruck moments are spent hiking an isolated trail, watching the sunrise over a mountain, listening to the thunder of waves on an otherwise quiet beach, smelling the forest after rain - all things nature.
I have ventured to all continents with the exception of Antartica yet have not taken the time to explore my own country. America has 63 National Parks and my goal is to share with you my journey to these incredible destinations. At times companions have joined me on this grand adventure. Their camaraderie brought great joy as we traveled. This past summer (2023) my daughter Terra, grandchildren Ezri (7), and Uri (4) and I began a whirlwind journey from Colorado to Key West, up to Maine and back west to California, visiting 23 National Parks. My younger daughter Amanda, granddaughter Harmony, and my friends Andy and Diane have also joined my expeditions. Sometimes I have gone solo but never alone. Above all, my Father in Heaven has been with me every step of the way. Daily I feel his presence and I am so in awe of a God that would know me by name. Thank you Lord!
