According to the National Geographic, Arches has the largest quantity and variety of arches in the world – over 2,000! I arrived before dawn. The blue-grey mystical landscape burst into vibrant red-orange colors as the sun rose over giant rock formations. Many of the arches are close to the road but seriously, this is a place where you can breath fresh air and walk for miles in a place that is like no other. Out of the amazing landscapes in Utah Arches is featured on the state license plates. Timed entry is in place so plan your visit!
